HOW AM I DIFFERENT?
Through years of experience in dog rescue supporting dogs in care and foster families, I quickly recognized the limitations of mainstream dog training methods.
Focusing solely on changing behavior, neglecting the causes or emotional state of the dog is detrimental to our dog's mental and emotional health
and can have harmful outcomes.
Understanding this, I offer a unique approach based on the individual needs of each dog I work with.
ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Kasia, the founder of Mindful Dog Training.
I discovered my purpose and gained most of my experience with dog behavior through years of volunteering in dog rescue. Currently, I serve as the Assistant Foster Manager and Behavioral Support Team Lead at Fetch and Releash Rescue.
I am a graduating student of
Nordic Education Centre for Ethical Dog Training, specializing in Dog Training and Canine Behavior.
In June of this year, I will also receive my Calming Signal Specialist Certification under the mentorship of Turid Rugaas, world renown dog trainer, founder of Dog Trainers of Europe and author.
Furthermore, I am on track to complete my
Applied Ethology, Family Mediation Diploma by end of 2024.

At Mindful Dog Training, my philosophy is to use force-free, cooperative ways to connect and learn at both ends of the leash. I believe that every dog has the potential to be calm, confident and balanced.

RESCUE DOG DECOMPRESSION WEBINAR SERIES
Rescue dogs often suffer from anxiety and fear due to their past experiences. Our rescue dog decompression webinar series will be designed to help you and your new family member adjust to life together.
REACTIVE DOG CLINICS
These classes will be held in vast open air spaces in very small groups to teach our dogs coping skills at their own pace. Supporting both dogs and humans through this often challenging process.
PUPPY TRAIN & PLAY
The right amount of exposure is crucial in raising a happy healthy puppy. This outdoor small group class will focus on building confidence in a safe environment. Teaching new pawrents to recognize signs of over arousal and stress to help raise a happy and calm dog.
